In Vietnam, his visit coincides with the 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties, celebrating a legacy defined by camaraderie and brotherhood. Bilateral trade has soared—with volumes topping over $260 billion and direct investments exceeding $2.5 billion—showcasing an enduring partnership.
Over in Malaysia, the focus is on cementing win-win cooperation. With China standing as Malaysia's largest trading partner for years, high-level dialogues are expected to boost economic and cultural exchanges. And yes, the rising popularity of tropical delights like durian and mangosteen among Chinese consumers adds a fun twist! 
In Cambodia, Xi aims to deepen the ironclad friendship that has grown over the years. With trade between China and Cambodia surging to $15.1 billion in 2024—a 23.8% increase—discussions will cover political trust, mutually beneficial cooperation, and cultural exchanges to pave the way for stronger ties.
Together, these visits are poised to inject fresh momentum into regional peace, development, and global stability, reinforcing China’s vision of building a community with a shared future with its neighbors.
