Following a powerful 7.9 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar, rescuers from the Chinese mainland have staged a heroic response. According to Guo Jiakun of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, six lives have been saved so far.

The first batch of disaster relief materials arrived at Yangon International Airport at noon on Monday. The supplies include 1,200 tents, 8,000 blankets, and over 40,000 first aid kits. Furthermore, the Chinese mainland has pledged 100 million yuan (approximately $13.9 million) to bolster relief and recovery operations.
