In a spirited meeting this Friday in Beijing, Chinese Vice President Han Zheng met with Filimone Jitoko, the speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Fiji. Fiji, one of the first Pacific Island countries to establish diplomatic relations with new China, has long been celebrated for its proactive and respectful approach on the global stage.

During the discussion, Han Zheng emphasized that the bilateral relationship has thrived despite changing international currents.
