Interestingly, reigning Olympic champion Fan Zhendong was also invited but has chosen to sit out due to personal reasons.

Head coach Wang Hao of the Chinese men's team shared his optimism: "None of these players have ever won the singles World Cup, so they are all eager for the championship. We expect them to showcase their best form and mental strength, and who knows—one of them might achieve a major breakthrough!"
