In a recent press conference on the sidelines of the 14th National People's Congress in Beijing, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized the importance of cooperation between China and the United States.
Responding to CGTN's Tian Wei, Wang stated that "high fences and small yards" cannot suppress the spirit of innovation. He warned that decoupling and supply chain disruptions would only lead to self-isolation for both nations.
Wang highlighted that China-US business relations are built on two-way and reciprocal interactions, bringing mutual benefits and win-win results. "One should not fantasize that it can suppress China and maintain good relations with China at the same time," he remarked.
He also mentioned that China would take countermeasures in response to arbitrary pressure, reinforcing the need for stable and cooperative international relations. 🌐🤝
