Wang Yi Affirms Unbreakable China-Russia Bond in Shifting World

In a strong statement on Friday, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that the friendship between the Chinese mainland and Russia stands the test of time, despite any shifts in the global landscape. 🌏🤝

Speaking at a press conference during the third session of the 14th National People’s Congress, Wang highlighted the unique path China and Russia have carved together through "non-alliance, non-confrontation, and not targeting any third party." This approach, he noted, is a pioneering effort in establishing a new model for major-country relations and sets a positive example for neighboring nations.

Wang described the China-Russia relationship as mature, resilient, and stable—a steadfast constant in an otherwise turbulent world. He dismissed the idea of the alliance being a mere variable in geopolitical games, underscoring its depth and significance.

Reflecting on history, Wang pointed out the heroic collaboration between the Chinese mainland and Russia in the major theaters of Asia and Europe during the World Anti-Fascist War. Both nations made immense sacrifices and played critical roles in securing victory.

As the world continues to evolve, the enduring bond between China and Russia remains a cornerstone of their international relations, showcasing the strength of their alliance.
