Building Bridges Through Tourism: Dazhai and Xienglom Villages Unite 🌏🤝

Nestled deep within the Longji Mountains, Dazhai Village has transformed from a place of hardship into a thriving hub of culture and tourism over the past four decades.
Thanks to the China-aided Pilot Project of Poverty Reduction Cooperation in Laos, Dazhai Village formed a sister village partnership with Xienglom Village in Luang Prabang, Laos 🇨🇳❤️🇱🇦. Since 2018, Xienglom Village's chief Bentanong has visited Dazhai Village twice, bringing back invaluable insights. With guidance from Dazhai's successful tourism development, Xienglom Village has begun to boost its own rural tourism economy under the leadership of its village officials.
This collaboration not only enhances economic opportunities for both villages but also fosters cultural exchange and strengthens the bond between China and Laos. As young entrepreneurs and travelers explore these vibrant communities, the legacy of friendship and cooperation continues to grow 🌱✨.
