China’s CPPCC Closes Session, Eyes 2025 Modernization Goals 🎯

China's top political advisory body, the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), wrapped up its tenth standing committee session on Sunday in Beijing.

Wang Huning, a prominent member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and chairman of the CPPCC National Committee, led the closing meeting and delivered an inspiring speech.

Wang highlighted the committee's focus on the Party and the country's central tasks from the previous year, emphasizing the significant progress made across various initiatives. He urged the CPPCC to continue its contributions in 2025, aiming to advance Chinese modernization and achieve the ambitious objectives set in the 14th Five-Year Plan with high quality.

Furthermore, Wang stressed the importance of ensuring the successful convening of the third session of the 14th CPPCC National Committee.

The meeting also approved several key documents, including the draft agenda and schedule for the annual session, a comprehensive work report of the Standing Committee, and a report detailing how proposals from political advisors have been addressed since the second session of the committee. These documents will be reviewed in the upcoming third session.
