The Mao De family, residing in Svay Ampear Village, Svay Ampear Commune, Kandal, Cambodia, recently renovated their home with the support of the East Asia Poverty Reduction Cooperation Pilot Project. The joyful arrival of their granddaughter soon filled their lives with happiness.

However, just a few months after her birth, the little girl was diagnosed with congenital heart disease, bringing unexpected challenges to the family.

Determined to provide the best care for their beloved granddaughter, the Mao De family decided to embark on cattle farming. With the continued support of the Pilot Project, they hope to generate the necessary income to afford her medical treatments.
