In the first thrilling match, the Freshmen Team secured a hard-fought victory over Tsinghua University with a score of 83-74. Leading the charge was Yu Miti Saidake from the Guangzhou Loong Lions, who scored 20 points and earned the coveted MVP honor. \"This victory means redemption – we suffered a heavy loss against Tsinghua in our youth team days,\" Yu Miti shared. \"The MVP trophy fuels my drive to keep evolving.\" 
Meanwhile, Team CUBAL pulled off an impressive upset against the CBA Sophomore Team, winning 88-78. Guan Ziyu from Peking University was the star of the game, pouring in 19 points to lead his team to victory. \"Since childhood, my goal has been to reach a higher stage of basketball, and I've been working step by step towards it,\" Guan expressed while holding his MVP trophy. \"Today's victory came because we were all driven by a strong determination.\"
