Tragic Boat Collision in Hunan: 2 Dead, 14 Missing 🚨

A heartbreaking incident unfolded on Tuesday morning in Hunan Province, the Chinese mainland, when a passenger boat collided with an oil waste recovery vessel on the Yuanshui River in Qinglang Township, Yuanling County.

The collision occurred around 10 a.m., causing the passenger boat to capsize and sink rapidly, plunging all 19 passengers into the water. Tragically, two individuals lost their lives in the mishap, while 14 remain missing.

Rescue teams have been tirelessly working since the accident, pulling three survivors from the water. These survivors have been hospitalized and are currently in stable condition. The search for the missing continues, with over 60 rescue workers and more than 10 boats deployed to locate those still unaccounted for.

Local authorities have launched an investigation to determine the cause of the collision and to prevent such tragedies in the future.
