Under China's presidency of the Council, member states came together to reflect on the UN's history, renew their commitment to working together, and build a fairer global governance system.
📈 Wang Yi highlighted how the past 80 years have seen the world become more multi-polar and economically globalized. With the rise and growing strength of the Global South, societies have moved beyond the Cold War's shadow and double-sided confrontations. Yet, achieving true global peace and shared prosperity is still a work in progress.
