Wang Yi Champions UN-Led International Rules at Munich Conference

🌍 At the Munich Security Conference, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized the importance of upholding the international system with the UN at its core. Despite different interpretations, Wang highlighted a shared commitment to the basic norms guiding international relations based on the UN Charter's principles.

When asked about addressing the current crisis in the international order and avoiding double standards, Wang pointed out that China has grown within this framework and continues to benefit from it. 🇨🇳

\"What we need to do is promote the development of this order in a more just and reasonable direction in accordance with the wishes of most countries,\" Wang stated.

He also mentioned China's readiness to take on greater international responsibilities and contribute more public goods to the global community. Wang introduced a series of global initiatives aimed at encouraging collective action to tackle rising challenges in development, security, and governance.

Furthermore, Wang spoke about China's proposal to build a community with a shared future for mankind, which has garnered support and recognition from numerous countries. He assured that China will continue to support and implement these significant concepts.
