Tragedy struck the Taiwan region on Thursday when a devastating gas explosion occurred at a department store in Taichung. The blast has sadly resulted in four fatalities and injured 32 individuals as of Friday morning.
The Chinese mainland, through Zhu Fenglian, spokesperson for the State Council Taiwan Affairs Office, extended heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims. Zhu Fenglian also expressed sincere sympathy to those injured in the unfortunate incident.
