China and Pakistan Strengthen Their Bond 🛠️🇨🇳🇵🇰
In a significant move to bolster bilateral relations, Chinese Premier Li Qiang met with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari in Beijing on Thursday.
Premier Li highlighted the expanding scope of cooperation between the two nations, emphasizing that their ironclad friendship has been renewed and deepened.
\"China is committed to working closely with Pakistan to implement the important consensus we’ve reached,\" Li stated. \"We will maintain close high-level exchanges, continue our traditional friendship, and support each other on core interests and major concerns.\"
The leaders discussed advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation, and progressing major infrastructure projects like roads, railways, and ports.
Additionally, Premier Li mentioned enhanced cooperation in agriculture, mining, new energy, information technology, and artificial intelligence. People-to-people exchanges are set to expand, fostering a China-Pakistan community with a shared future.
China also expressed its readiness to deepen security cooperation with Pakistan and hopes for guarantees on the safety of Chinese personnel and projects in the region.
