In an electrifying showcase of aerial prowess, China's Qi Guangpu clinched his second consecutive gold medal at the FIS Aerials World Cup in Lac-Beauport, Canada, on Sunday! 🥳 Just a day after his first triumph, Qi soared to the top once again, proving he's the one to watch this season. 🚀

Out of six Chinese athletes who made it to the finals, four advanced past the first round. Qi dazzled in the qualifiers with a stellar score of 121.24 points, trailing just behind teammate Li Xinpeng and Canada's own Emile Nadeau. But in the second final, Qi pulled out all the stops! With an unbeatable 110.56 points, he led in both air and form, leaving competitors in his snowy wake. ❄️

Wang Xindi snagged the silver for China with 105.88 points, while Nadeau thrilled the home crowd by taking bronze. 🇨🇦✨ The podium was lit! 🔥

On the women's side, although Xu Mengtao bowed out in the first round, her teammate Shao Qi rocked it into the second final, finishing just shy of the podium in fourth place. Australia's Laura Peel took gold with 102.17 points, followed by Karenna Elliott from the USA and another Aussie, Airleigh Frigo. Way to shred, ladies! 🎿💪
