The Malaysia Open just got a whole lot more exciting as Chinese badminton stars took to the courts on Tuesday, lighting up the Axiata Arena! 🇲🇾🏸

In an electrifying men's singles match, World No. 1 Shi Yuqi battled Japan's Kenta Nishimoto, clinching an exhilarating victory of 21-16, 20-22, 21-16. Talk about a nail-biter! 😮 Meanwhile, teammate Lu Guangzu soared past Malaysia's own Leong Jun Hao with a score of 21-17, 16-21, 21-13, sending local fans into a frenzy.

Over in men's doubles, the dynamic duo Chen Boyang and Liu Yi powered through a tough game against Thailand's Peeratchai Sukphun and Pakkapon Teeraratsakul, finishing with 21-11, 17-21, 21-18. These guys are on fire! 🔥

The mixed doubles saw Feng Yanzhe and Huang Dongping effortlessly outplay Britain's Gregory Mairs and Jenny Mairs, wrapping things up at 21-17, 21-12. Smooth moves! 🕺💃

China's top-seeded women's doubles pairs are not to be outdone. Liu Shengshu and Tan Ning dominated Denmark's Julie Finne-Ipsen and Mai Surrow with a swift 21-10, 21-10 win. Their teammates Jia Yifan and Zhang Shuxian also cruised into the next round, defeating Malaysia's Go Pei Kee and Teoh Mei Xing 21-17, 21-10. Girl power at its finest! ✨

But it wasn't all victories. Lei Lanxi faced a tough defeat against Japan's Yushi Tanaka in men's singles, with scores of 21-19, 16-21, 13-21. In men's doubles, He Jiting and Ren Xiangyu gave it their all but were edged out by England's Ben Lane and Sean Vendy, ending their run at 21-23, 21-19, 11-21.
