China's Liu Mengting Soars to Victory in Freeski Big Air World Cup! 
Get ready to be wowed! China's very own Liu Mengting just clinched her first-ever freeski big air World Cup title at the Woerthersee Stadium in Klagenfurt, Austria! 
On a night filled with high-flying action and insane tricks, Liu threw down two epic Double 1080s in her first two runs, racking up a total of 170.60 points. Talk about style and precision! 
With just a 0.20 point lead, she edged out Italy's Flora Tabanelli, securing her spot atop the podium. 
\"I’m so happy. My first World Cup win, it’s so cool!\" Liu beamed after her victory. And we couldn't agree more! 
This win makes Liu only the second Chinese freeskier to conquer the big air World Cup, following in the footsteps of the legendary Gu Ailing, who dominated in Colorado back in the 2020-21 season. Way to go, Liu! 
Epic Battles & Tight Scores
Flora Tabanelli wasn't going down without a fight! She scored the highest run of the night with a jaw-dropping left double cork 1260 safety, earning 91.00 points. But despite her best efforts and some solid scores in her subsequent runs, she couldn't quite surpass Liu. Big respect to Tabanelli for keeping the competition fierce! 
Germany's Muriel Mohr also made waves, sliding into third place with 166.20 points. 
Men's Side Action
Meanwhile, over in the men's event, New Zealand's Luca Harrington absolutely dominated! He stomped a switch right triple 1620 esco double grab (try saying that five times fast!) for a massive 94.80 points in his first run. He kept the momentum going and sealed the win with a total of 182.60 points. Kiwi power! 
France's Timothe Sivignon snagged second place, while Austria's own Matej Svancer thrilled the home crowd, landing in third.
