Hold onto your seats! 🚨 Two earthquakes shook the city of Yinchuan, the capital of northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on Thursday, sending ripples through the region.
The first quake, a magnitude-4.8, hit Yongning County in Yinchuan at 10:01 a.m. Beijing Time. Just when things started to calm down, Mother Earth gave another jolt with a magnitude-4.6 quake at 4:43 p.m.! 😲
Locals reported feeling the tremors, but so far, there's been no major damage reported. The China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC) is keeping a close eye on the situation.
