Homecoming of Heroes: In a heartfelt journey, the remains of 43 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs are returning to China from the Republic of Korea (ROK) today. 🙏✨
These brave souls lost their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and now, they're finally coming back to their homeland. A Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force Y-20 transport aircraft is carrying their remains along with 495 cherished artifacts. The plane will touch down in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, later today. 🛬🇨🇳
This marks the 11th repatriation since China and the ROK signed a handover agreement in 2014. Each year, we honor these heroes who sacrificed so much, with nearly 200,000 CPV soldiers confirmed killed during the war, most of whom were laid to rest on the Korean Peninsula. 🌏🕊️
The return of our martyrs is a poignant reminder of their sacrifice and a symbol of enduring respect and gratitude. Let's take a moment to honor their memory and reflect on the peace their bravery has helped secure. ❤️
