Honoring Heroes: China’s Fallen Soldiers Return Home from the ROK 🇨🇳✈️

In a heartfelt journey across the skies, the remains of 43 Chinese People's Volunteers (CPV) martyrs are finally returning home from the Republic of Korea (ROK) on November 28. These brave souls gave their lives during the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea, and now, decades later, they're coming back to their homeland.

The Ministry of Veterans Affairs announced that a Chinese delegation, a team from the People's Liberation Army's Guard of Honor, and a dedicated transport aircraft have set off to the ROK for this solemn mission.

On the morning of November 28, a special ceremony will take place at a temporary storage facility in Incheon. Here, the coffins will be sealed, and all necessary transfer documents will be finalized, ensuring the martyrs' remains are handled with the utmost respect.

Later that day, the delegation, alongside the Chinese Embassy in the ROK, will hold a memorial service at Incheon International Airport. It's a moment for reflection and gratitude, honoring the sacrifices made by these heroes.

The journey continues as the remains are flown to Shenyang, China. Upon arrival at Shenyang Taoxian Airport, a formal welcome ceremony is set to take place. The following morning, on November 29, a solemn burial ceremony will be held at a cemetery in Shenyang, where the martyrs will finally rest.

This event not only marks a poignant chapter in history but also serves as a reminder of the enduring bonds between nations and the importance of honoring those who laid down their lives for peace. 🕊️
