FIFA Teams Up with China to Boost Youth Football Development ⚽

FIFA President Gianni Infantino is hyped about China's push into youth football! 🙌 On Thursday, he praised the country's efforts and announced that FIFA and China are teaming up to unlock the next generation of football stars.

Infantino was in Shanghai meeting with big names like Zhang Jiasheng, Deputy Director of the General Administration of Sport of China, and Song Kai, President of the Chinese Football Association (CFA). They chatted about getting more kids kicking balls and how the FIFA Forward program can amp up football development across the nation.

\"We discussed plans to work together to ensure more youngsters play and excel in our sport, and how the FIFA Forward program can further football development,\" Infantino said. \"FIFA's increased youth tournaments reflect a shared commitment to grassroots development, and I was impressed by the progress made to tap into this beautiful country's massive football potential.\"

Back in 2019, the CFA kicked off the National Youth Super League (NYSL) with a boost from FIFA Forward. This league gives young ballers the chance to compete every week, honing their skills and living their football dreams. ⚽🌟

Starting in 2024, FIFA Forward is helping fund the CFA Cup, bringing together teams from the top three divisions and even some amateur squads. It's gonna be epic! 🎉

With this powerhouse partnership, China's football future looks bright. Get ready to see some serious talent emerging from the East! 🌏🔥
