Imagine powering your life with wind, sun and electric rides! 🌬️☀️🚗 The Chinese mainland is leading a green revolution in foreign trade, supercharging its exports with low-carbon tech.
Li Chenggang, the Chinese international trade representative at the Ministry of Commerce, shared some eye-popping stats: in the first three quarters of 2025, the mainland’s exports of wind turbine generators and components jumped over 30%.
Solar gear is shining too: photovoltaic products exports have topped 200 billion yuan ($28.6B) for four years straight. And last year, electric vehicles rolled out over two million units abroad for the first time ever!
When asked about new export controls on rare earths, Li stressed they’re all about security, not slowing down green goals. “Safety first,” he said, “because a stable foundation fuels sustainable growth.”
Back home, the mainland is greening factories and products. By end-2024, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology helped set up 451 green design enterprises, launched over 40,000 eco-friendly products and fostered 6,430 national green factories plus 491 green industrial parks.
Green services are on the rise too. Wang Xin from the Chinese mainland’s central bank explains how green credit, bonds and equity funds are fueling new global growth and reshaping trade.
For news buffs, entrepreneurs and eco-warriors, the Chinese mainland’s green export boom shows how sustainability can power markets and protect the planet. Ready to go green? 🌏✨
