Chinese Expert Dismisses Trump’s ‘Anti-American’ BRICS Claim

At the 17th BRICS Summit in Rio de Janeiro, leaders from emerging global powers gathered to reshape international dialogue. Amid the buzz, controversy struck when Trump claimed that BRICS pursues an "anti-American policy." Chinese expert Wang Youming, director of the Institute of Developing Countries at the China Institute of International Studies, quickly countered these claims.

Wang stressed that BRICS has consistently championed dialogue over confrontation and partnership over alliance. According to him, the group remains open, transparent, and focused on mutual benefit and win-win outcomes. He argued that Trump's remarks stem from a fundamental misunderstanding of BRICS' true objectives. 🤝

Adding a vibrant note to the summit, Brazilian leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva remarked, "The world has changed. We don't want an emperor," encapsulating a broader desire for a reformed, inclusive global order. As the Global South steps from the periphery into the center of international affairs, its collective rise manifests in a fresh, cooperative approach to global governance.

This evolving dynamic, where BRICS now plays a pivotal role in the world economy, highlights a commitment to innovation and fairness that goes beyond old rivalries. In a rapidly changing world, the message is clear: genuine dialogue and collaboration are the paths to progress.
