Since its debut in Kunming in 2013 alongside the Belt and Road Initiative, the expo has facilitated over 110 billion U.S. dollars in foreign trade and engaged more than 20,000 enterprises. In 2024, trade between China and South Asia nearly reached 200 billion dollars, reflecting steady growth and expanding opportunities.
The event is also broadening its scope beyond traditional trade lanes. For the first time, Dubai-based Forevermore Flower Trading signed a deal worth 150 million yuan with a local supplier in Yunnan, emphasizing the impressive variety and quality of Yunnan's fresh blooms—qualities that are attracting attention from the Middle East. 🌸
