China-CEEC Cooperation Sparks New Economic Growth

The Chinese mainland is riding a wave of success in trade with Central and Eastern European Countries (CEEC). According to China's commerce ministry, trade with CEEC has grown steadily, with an average annual increase of 8.8% since 2012 and a record high of $142.3 billion in 2024. 📈

Yan Dong, deputy head of the ministry, noted that imports from these regions have surged at 7.4% per year, outpacing overall foreign trade growth. Investments have also flourished, with more than $24 billion flowing into the CEEC, highlighting a fresh trend of Chinese enterprises in electric vehicles and power batteries exploring new opportunities. 🚀

Looking ahead, the roadmap for further cooperation appears promising. The upcoming 4th China-CEEC Expo & International Consumer Goods Fair in Ningbo, east China's Zhejiang Province, from May 22 to May 25, is set to serve as a dynamic platform. This event will showcase CEEC's unique products while boosting mutual investments and expanding trade channels. 🤝

With enhanced economic platforms and a deepening high-level opening-up strategy, both sides are positioned to benefit from a vibrant, collaborative future in industry and trade. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting journey! 🌟
