Mega Bridge Sees 70% Surge in International Travelers

The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the world’s longest bridge-and-tunnel sea crossing, is making waves with a jaw-dropping 70% surge in international passenger trips! As of Sunday, over 172,000 international journeys were recorded at the Zhuhai land port, shining a spotlight on this architectural marvel. 🚀

A major boost comes from the Chinese mainland's expansion of visa-free policies, with the Zhuhai land port being the only one offering direct road access to Hong Kong International Airport. This strategic move has not only streamlined travel but also contributed to a robust 18.9% increase in overall trips, crossing the 10 million mark 25 days earlier than last year.

Additionally, journeys made by mainland residents climbed by 30.3% to 4.18 million, while cross-border trips by Hong Kong and Macao-registered vehicles soared by 32.4% to nearly 1.2 million. With daily averages exceeding 10,000 trips, the bridge is buzzing with activity and new travel opportunities. 🎉

These impressive figures highlight a dynamic shift in travel and trade trends across Asia, opening fresh doors for explorers, students, and entrepreneurs alike. Whether you're planning your next adventure or looking for market insights, the surge at this mega bridge is definitely one to watch!
