Happy 11th anniversary to the Jing-Jin-Ji region! 🚀 Since its launch in 2014, this powerhouse trio comprising Beijing, Tianjin, and Hebei has made impressive strides in economic growth and regional integration.
In 2024, the combined economic output soared to 11.5 trillion yuan (about $1.6 trillion), marking a significant milestone. This growth is a testament to the region's commitment to tackling challenges like traffic congestion, pollution, and uneven development.
One of the standout achievements is the completion of the Changtong Road, which now connects Beijing's Tongzhou District to Dachang Hui Autonomous County in Hebei. This new infrastructure has shaved off around 30 minutes from the travel time, accommodating over 11,000 vehicles daily! 🛣️
Public transportation has also seen major upgrades. The customized express bus service has expanded its network with new routes to Xiong'an New Area and Wuqing, now featuring 11 main lines and 39 branch lines. In 2024 alone, the network operated 71,000 trips, transporting more than 1.61 million passengers. 🚌✨
Healthcare access has improved significantly too. Over the past 11 years, 115 regional medical consortia have been established, covering 11 cities and Xiong'an New Area. Beijing Children's Hospital has sent over 420 experts to Baoding Children's Hospital, enhancing the treatment of complex conditions like pediatric cancer and stem cell transplantation. 🏥❤️
As Jing-Jin-Ji continues to evolve, it sets a strong example of coordinated development and regional synergy. Here's to many more years of progress and prosperity! 🎊
