Japan’s Kobayashi Probes 76 More Deaths Linked to Popular Supplement 😱

Uh-oh! 😬 Big news coming out of Japan: Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, a well-known health supplement maker, just announced they're investigating 76 more deaths possibly linked to their popular cholesterol-lowering tablets made from red yeast rice, known as \"Benikoji\".

The company revealed that they've received 1,656 inquiries from people who sought medical attention after using their product. Out of these, 76 cases are under investigation to see if there's a direct link to the deaths.

Previously, Japan's health ministry had officially registered five deaths related to this supplement. 🌡️

What's worse? Kobayashi Pharmaceutical, based in Osaka, is facing backlash for not speaking up sooner. Turns out they knew about potential issues as early as January but didn't make a public announcement until March 22. Not cool, right? 😠

Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story! And remember, always stay informed about what you put into your body. 💡
