Yang Yihang, minister counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia, echoed these sentiments. He noted that China has been Africa's largest trade partner for 15 consecutive years! 🏆 By the end of 2023, over 500 Chinese companies had invested in more than 2,000 projects across Ethiopia, pumping in about $5 billion and creating 580,000 jobs. 💼

Yang emphasized the importance of African countries creating a favorable business environment. \"China will further encourage Chinese companies to seize investment opportunities in Ethiopia and Africa in general,\" he said.
