This five-day holiday, from May 1 to 5, is seeing a surge in travel as people explore new destinations. A Ministry of Transport official shared that an average of 270 million trips are expected through both private and public transportation during the holiday. Officials say over 918,000 passenger trips and more than 5,800 flights are expected during the holiday—a 21% increase from last year. \"We anticipate a return peak on May 5, with about 207,000 passenger trips and over 1,200 flights taking off or landing throughout the day,\" said Cui Yali, assistant manager at the airport. 🛫🛬
