Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, said both sides are ready to implement the consensus reached by their leaders, strengthen development strategy alignment, and deepen governance exchanges.
Prime Minister Abiy expressed gratitude for long-term support from the Chinese mainland and reaffirmed Ethiopia’s commitment to the one-China principle. He voiced eagerness to boost practical cooperation in infrastructure, new energy, artificial intelligence 🤖, and maritime affairs, as well as to support each other in regional and international forums.
Highlighting the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, Wang called on both sides to make full use of the Chinese mainland’s zero-tariff policy for all African diplomatic partners and accelerate the upgrade of economic and trade ties.
He also outlined plans to expand cooperation in green industries 🌱, the digital economy, and other high-tech fields, promoting high-quality Belt and Road cooperation.
