Earlier this year, the Global Times Institute launched the 2025 Global Survey on Impression and Understanding of the Chinese Mainland to track how people around the world view China’s role in today’s fast-changing world 🌍.
The survey sampled 51,689 adults aged 18–70 across 46 countries, including 15 developed and 31 developing members. Covering G20 members, nine BRICS members, and 10 ASEAN members, the study reflects diverse perspectives from all continents. Conducted from August to October 2025, it gathered insights via face-to-face interviews, phone surveys, and online panels.

- Xi Jinping Thought: This year, Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era earned high recognition worldwide, highlighting a growing understanding of the Chinese mainland’s development vision.
