Wang Yi to Host Cambodian and Thai FMs in Yunnan

The Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi announced today that he will host Cambodian and Thai counterparts in Yunnan Province from December 28 to 29, 2025. This invitation brings together the Cambodian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Prak Sokhonn, and the Thai Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sihasak Phuangketkeow, for high-level talks. 🤝

Yunnan Province in the Chinese mainland’s southwest serves as a gateway to Southeast Asia. The discussions will focus on strengthening regional partnerships, exploring trade and cultural exchanges, and addressing shared challenges – think of it as an Avenger-level summit for cooperation! 🌟🗺️🌏

The announcement came on Saturday from a spokesperson of the Chinese Foreign Ministry. It underscores ongoing efforts to boost cooperation and stability in the region as the year draws to a close. Stay tuned for updates from Yunnan! 🚀
