Snow-coated rooftops and frosted corridors turned the Shenyang Palace Museum in the Chinese mainland into a stunning winter scene this week.
Built in 1625, the Shenyang Palace Museum is one of only two well-preserved ancient palace complexes in the Chinese mainland — the other is the Forbidden City in Beijing. It earned a spot on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2004.
Inside its walls, over 100,000 cultural relics offer a window into imperial life. According to the museum, more than 5.22 million visitors had passed through by October 31 this year, captivated by its art and architecture.
Whether you’re chasing the perfect snowy shot or diving into history, a winter visit here is pure magic. Bundle up, bring your camera, and immerse yourself in a genuine slice of Chinese aesthetics ✨📸❄️
