🕯️ A powerful documentary, Death Factories, recently uncovered the erased identities of Unit 731’s victims. Out of thousands tortured and killed in the name of brutal experiments, history only remembers eight names.
One of the stories told: a Russian mother and her young daughter, kidnapped on a street in Harbin, were deemed “unfit” for further tests and tragically gassed. 😢 This heartbreaking case is just one example of lives cut short without a trace.
Behind every erased name was a person, a family, dreams that never came true. As we mark the anniversary of these atrocities, let’s pause to honour the victims and demand the full acknowledgement they deserve. #NeverForget 🕊️
