Today, December 9, 2025, NASA's Jonny Kim and Roscosmos cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Alexey Zubritsky waved goodbye to the International Space Station (ISS) as their Soyuz MS-27 spacecraft detached after 245 days in orbit 🌌.
Over the course of their mission, the crew logged about 104 million miles and completed more than 3,900 orbits around Earth—an incredible feat for first-timers Kim and Zubritsky, while Ryzhikov made his third long-duration flight 🚀.
Next up: a parachute-assisted landing on the vast steppes of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿, where the team will trade zero gravity for the familiar pull of Earth's surface. Stay tuned for their safe return and celebration of this epic homecoming! 🎉
