Zhejiang Dominates Women’s Compound Finals at National Para Games

On Wednesday, December 3, at Shenzhen's archery range, Team Zhejiang delivered a double dose of gold at China's 12th National Para Games. 🎯 It was a showdown fit for the Avengers, with archers channeling their inner Hawkeye to hit impressive scores.

In the women's team compound W1 final, Zhejiang started strong, leading 34-29 after the first round. Led by star archer Wang Liya, who powered the squad to an eight-point edge in round two, Zhejiang never looked back. The final score — 142-120 — secured a commanding victory over Jiangsu, while Shanghai snagged bronze.

The women's team open compound final was neck-and-neck early on, with both sides tied at 37 after round one. Sichuan briefly took the lead in round two, but Zhejiang rallied, outshooting their rivals in the last two rounds to win 152-149. Guangdong completed the podium in third place.

With this performance, Zhejiang cements its reputation as a powerhouse in para archery. As the National Para Games continue, fans can expect more thrilling moments and record-breaking performances from top athletes across the country.
