On November 8, Kai Tak flipped the script from aviation legend to athletic legend! 🚀✈️ Now known as Kai Tak Sports Park, this site will host the 15th National Games of China, welcoming dreams instead of planes.
Once a century-old airport runway, Kai Tak has been reborn as an engineering marvel. Behind the scenes, teams used BIM digital construction to map every beam and wire. A retractable roof will let events shine under the sun or the stars. Best part? Experts from around the world came together to make it happen. 🌐🏗️
“Kai Tak Sports Park is a new landmark for Hong Kong and another milestone in the Greater Bay Area’s integration,” says the project team. Indeed, this venue symbolizes how Hong Kong bridges innovation and community in one of the world’s most dynamic regions.
