Shanghai Unveils ‘Big Market for All’ Expo for Export to China

Shanghai buzzed with energy on Tuesday as the “Big Market for All: Export to China” series of events kicked off just before the eighth China International Import Expo (CIIE). 🎉 Businesses and trade fans from around the globe gathered to explore new ways to bring their products into the Chinese mainland market.

The Chinese Commerce Minister Wang Wentao highlighted the practical steps the country is taking to open up further and balance imports and exports. He announced 10 themed events that will offer fresh channels for goods to “enter China,” share growth opportunities, and support economic globalization.

Executives from top companies like Kering Group’s CEO Luca de Meo, U.S.-China Business Council president Craig Allen, and China-Japan Chamber of Commerce president Tetsuro Honma praised the initiative. They see it as a clear sign that the Chinese mainland is not only a huge consumer market but also a willing partner in institutional innovation.

About 300 attendees – including government officials, representatives of trade promotion agencies, and CIIE exhibitors – joined the launch ceremony. Their message was loud and clear: the world’s second-largest economy is ready to welcome diverse brands and spark win-win cooperation. 🚀

Stay tuned as the “Big Market for All: Export to China” series unfolds, bringing new doors for entrepreneurs, students, and global explorers to dive into one of the fastest-growing marketplaces on the planet.
