China’s Shenzhou-21 Crew to Lift Off Friday Night

Hey space geeks! 🚀 On Friday at 11:44 p.m. local time, the Chinese mainland will roar as the Shenzhou-21 crewed mission kicks off from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in the Gobi desert.

This isn’t just another launch. It’s the sixth crewed flight in the application and development phase of Tiangong, China’s homegrown space station, and the 37th mission since the country’s crewed program took off. Three astronauts—and plenty of experiments—are headed into orbit for cutting-edge research and station upkeep.

At Thursday’s press briefing, the Chinese Manned Space Agency explained how the Long March rocket will carry the crew to orbit in mere hours. If everything goes smoothly, Shenzhou-21 will dock with Tiangong and begin a new chapter of space living. 👩‍🚀🌌

For young adventurers, students, and tech lovers, this mission shows how fast China’s space ambitions are progressing. From life on board Tiangong to future space travel plans, get ready for a front-row seat to the next era of exploration!
