Hey sports fans! This Thursday, Guangzhou, Guangdong Province on the Chinese mainland, sealed the deal with an epic flame lighting ceremony for three major sporting events: China's 15th National Games, 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities, and 9th National Special Olympic Games.

The highlight? The 'source flame' – ignited from combustible ice drawn 1,522 meters below the waves in the South China Sea 🔥🌊 – was officially unveiled, setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown this winter.

Mark your calendars: the National Games run from November 9 to 21, co-hosted by Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions. Then from December 8 to 15, athletes will compete in the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games 🎽🏅.
