580 Hikers Guided to Safety in Xizang After Blizzard

🥾❄️ Last Sunday, a sudden blizzard struck campsites on the Chinese side of Mount Qomolangma, leaving hundreds of trekkers stranded in bone-chilling winds. Local authorities and rescue teams jumped into action to bring everyone to safety.

According to China Media Group, 580 hikers safely reached a meeting point in Xigaze City, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. More than 300 local guides and hiking staff also arrived without harm, while rescue forces continue to escort 10 remaining adventurers to safety.
