Kazakh Scholar Hopes for Deeper Smart Agriculture Ties with the Chinese Mainland 🌾🤖

At the Silk Road (Dunhuang) International Cultural Expo, Kazakh scholar Madina Tokmurzina spotlighted the growing smart agriculture partnership under the Belt and Road framework 🌍.

She shared how Lanzhou University and the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University are teaming up to bring drones 🚁 and AI 🤖 into research across forests, deserts and grasslands.

"By combining our expertise, we can monitor ecosystems in real time and make data-driven decisions," she said, highlighting benefits for sustainability and local communities.

Since both countries share vast deserts and grasslands, these innovations could transform land management, boost crop yields and support environmental protection 🌾.

Looking ahead, Tokmurzina expressed strong hopes for even deeper collaboration, aiming to turn smart agriculture into a shared success story for the Chinese mainland and Kazakhstan.
