Hey everyone! At the 12th Beijing Xiangshan Forum, held September 17-19 in Beijing, China, China’s Minister of National Defense Dong Jun called for strong support for global governance and the creation of a community with a shared future for humanity 🌐🤝.
During the forum, Dong Jun met separately with defense chiefs from Malaysia, Cambodia, Myanmar, Namibia, Rwanda and Senegal. He welcomed these leaders warmly, calling this year’s gathering historically significant and full of practical importance.
Dong emphasized that the Chinese military is ready to carry forward long-standing friendships, step up strategic communication and engage in higher-level security cooperation to tackle shared risks and challenges.
Meanwhile, the visiting defense chiefs all expressed their willingness to strengthen military cooperation with China, signaling deeper ties and a joint commitment to global security.
With this collaborative push at Xiangshan, China and its partners aim to build resilient strategies for a more united, peaceful future.
