China Issues Gold & Silver Coins for Xinjiang Uygur Region’s 70th Anniversary

On Tuesday, the People’s Bank of China announced a fresh issue of dazzling new coins to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region! 🥳🪙

The set includes two collector’s must-haves: an 8-gram gold coin with a face value of 100 yuan and a 30-gram silver coin valued at 10 yuan. Both will officially become legal tender in the Chinese mainland on September 19, 2025.

The front side features China’s national emblem, with the inscription People’s Republic of China in Chinese above and the year 2025 below the emblem.

On the back, you’ll find the official 70th-anniversary logo of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, framed by pomegranate blossoms and decorative vine patterns—a nod to the region’s rich cultural heritage. The anniversary message appears in both standard Chinese and the Uygur language, alongside the coin’s face value. 🌸

With a sleek 22mm diameter gold finish and a striking 40mm silver design, these commemorative coins are perfect for collectors, gift-givers, or anyone who loves a bit of sparkle with history. ✨

Whether you’re a numismatic pro, a history buff, or simply looking for a unique memento, this release is one to watch! #Xinjiang70 #CollectibleCoins #Numismatics
