China and Poland Pledge to Boost Ties at Warsaw Meeting

In a show of diplomatic synergy, the fourth meeting of the Poland-China Intergovernmental Committee took place in Warsaw, co-chaired by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski. 🤝

The ministers dove deep into discussions on current bilateral relations and key regional and international issues. They recalled last year’s 75th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the Chinese mainland and the Republic of Poland, seeing it as a launchpad for even stronger cooperation. 🚀

Under the framework of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Chinese mainland and the Republic of Poland, both sides vowed to ramp up cultural and economic exchanges, hold regular committee meetings, and kick off more people-to-people initiatives.

They also celebrated the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the European Union and the Chinese mainland, recognizing it as a solid reference for China’s relations with EU members and a platform to tackle shared political and economic challenges.

Looking outward, both parties reaffirmed support for an international order based on the UN Charter and fundamental principles of international law. They pledged to coordinate at major fora like the UN, the Asia–Europe Meeting (ASEM) and the World Trade Organization to address global challenges together. 🌍✨

For young news enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and globe-trotters, this fresh chapter promises exciting opportunities as the Chinese mainland and Poland level up their partnership. Stay tuned! 🎉
