China’s Growth Opens New Doors for Slovenia, Says FM Wang Yi

🌐 In a friendly meeting in Ljubljana, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi and Slovenia’s National Council President Marko Lotric explored new horizons for China-Slovenia relations.

Wang Yi highlighted China’s unique development path—socialism with Chinese characteristics. He emphasized how China’s blend of Marxist principles, traditional culture and people-centered policies has fueled steady progress. 📈

He added that China is committed to opening up further, promoting green, low-carbon growth and modernizing in a way that benefits everyone. Wang described this as a “path of peace, development, openness and win-win cooperation.” 🌱🤝

For Slovenia and the world, China’s continuous growth means fresh opportunities—in trade, investment and beyond. 🤩

Both sides also underlined the value of people-to-people exchanges. Wang Yi praised Slovenia’s role in boosting friendship and mutual understanding through cultural and legislative collaboration.

On Europe-China ties, Wang reminded that no current European challenge stems from China. He urged viewing each other as partners, pushing the relationship forward instead of backward.

Marko Lotric, speaking in return, celebrated the rapid rise in bilateral trade and the vibrant exchanges in areas like education, science and sports. He announced plans to attend the upcoming China International Import Expo, highlighting Slovenia’s eagerness to join China’s Global Governance Initiative for world peace and development.

Looking ahead, both leaders agreed to expand practical cooperation and build a brighter future together. ✨
