Djokovic Rallies Past Svajda to Reach US Open Third Round

🎾 Novak Djokovic dug deep on Wednesday night to overcome American qualifier Zachary Svajda and book his spot in the third round of the US Open at Flushing Meadows.

Djokovic stumbled early, dropping a tight first set in a 7-point tiebreak, but turned up the heat from set two onwards, cruising to a 6-7(5), 6-3, 6-3, 6-1 victory after 2 hours and 35 minutes.

After shaking off some footwork jitters in his opener against Learner Tien, the 38-year-old legend showed why he's still the boss on hard courts. With Svajda slowed by a leg issue, Djokovic piled on break points and unleashed that trademark forehand winner into the corner. 💥

This win not only swung the match in his favor but also marked his 75th appearance in the third round of a major—breaking Roger Federer's all-time record.

"I expect to play at the highest level, which isn't always possible," Djokovic said. "But I still have the desire to compete with the young guys, otherwise I wouldn't be here playing."

Next up: Great Britain's Cameron Norrie. Can Djokovic keep the momentum going? Stay tuned as the battle for the US Open crown heats up! 🔥
