Chinese Envoy Demands Truth on Nord Stream Explosions

At a recent UN Security Council meeting called by Russia, Geng Shuang, China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations, spoke out about the Nord Stream pipeline explosions that rocked the Baltic Sea three years ago. He argued that, despite national investigations by Sweden, Denmark, and Germany, the full truth still remains under wraps. 🚨

"For a long time, the public could only rely on media reports and speculation," Geng noted, calling this situation "abnormal." 📰🔍

China has taken note of the recent suspect arrest and the joint letter from Germany, Sweden, and Denmark. However, Geng said, "This does not suffice as a response to the doubts and concerns of the international community." He urged Germany to accelerate its judicial proceedings and share progress via official channels. 🕵️‍♀️⚖️

He also stressed that the probes must not be politicized and emphasized the need to prevent similar incidents in the future. "The international community rightfully demands a truthful answer," he added. 🌐🤝

As young global citizens, we all have a stake in seeing transparency and justice served. Let's keep an eye on this case and demand accountability! 💡✨
